If you want to see high end art, the best spot in the United States is Miami Beach during the first few days of December. Art Basel opened to the public December 5th, and I didn't want to miss any of it.
Art Basel attracts so many art collectors that more than 15 satellite art fairs set up camp over the same weekend. This creates (temporarily) the biggest collection of contemporary art anywhere in the world.
